Interim Purchasing & Warehouse Manager, 6-12 months – England/Copenhagen
The company is a fast-growing, dynamic and international high-tech company with headquarters in Denmark and development and production sites in the United Kingdom, Germany and Switzerland, as well as sales offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
The company currently holds 300 FTE with a yearly procurement budget around Euro 20 million. It is expected to double to Euro 40 million within the next 2-3 years.
The Interim Purchasing & Warehouse Manager will primarily be focusing on the UK operation and travelling is required for +50% of the time. The interim manager will be an active part of a newly build and emerging global supply-chain function with currently 9 FTE.
UK procurement (+ 1 procurement assistant)
CH procurement with a local procurement setup
UK Warehouse (+2 warehouse operators)
Global procurement related projects cross the group.
Secure an effective business performance and supply-chain risk reduction
Driving corrective and preventative activities
Alignment locally and across the group in cooperation with Management
Participation in management meetings
The interim manager needs a strong operational focus and hands on approaches to build an effective purchasing function within the assigned area and the effective execution of global responsibilities.
