The typical profile for interim leaders in our network is:
- Extensive experience and competence within one’s field
- Having acted, in several organizations, as CEO, Technical Management, Chief of Operations, or Project Leader
- Having, by virtue of one’s leadership style, attained visible and positive results
- Having previously acted as an Interim Manager and/or
- being an independent entrepreneur by virtue of one’s own firm

- What is Interim Management?
Making use of an external, experienced leader having competence as Administrative Director, Director, Chief of Operations, Project Leader, or Management Consultant in connection with the completion of assignments where time and results are of the essence. - Why do businesses use interim leaders?
Primarily in the case of a business having a latent need for a decisive effort and leadership. Interim leaders’ focus on results, vast experience, competences acquired from previous assignments, and action-orientation bring a heightened quality and new-thinking to bear upon the task. Moreover, an interim leader accomplishes the assignment for a lower expenditure compared with management consultants and is under contract for the agreed-upon period. - How long should I expect the interim period to be?
It will typically last from six to nine months, with the possibility of extension if the client and candidate are in agreement over this. However, it may also be just a few weeks or all the way up to 13 months, that being the longest period we’ve experienced. - What must I do to become an Interim Manager?
As a point of departure, you should be an independent entrepreneur with your own company. If you are in a transitional period, where you are considering becoming an Interim Manager, you are welcome to contact Director Torben Hvashøj who will be able to advise you regarding the prospects of a career change. - How should my CV/competence profile be presented?
The way in which your CV/competence profile is put together is very important with regards to being considered as an Interim Manager. We recommend that it not exceed three pages, and that it focuses on competence and experience. It should, as a minimum, contain the positions and interim assignments you have carried out within the most recent five years, with a description of your areas of responsibility and the results you achieved. The assignments and projects that had the character of reorganizations, turnarounds, and project-leadership should be emphasized. In this context, personal interests and familial status are less relevant. If you are chosen as a candidate for a concrete assignment, you will usually be asked to draw up an accompanying letter tailored specifically to the business/situation in question. - What transpires when I send my CV/competence profile to Nextt Management?
Upon receipt of your CV/competence profile, we review it with an eye to potentially inviting you to a personal interview. The interview will be decisive for whether we will initiate a partnership by registering you into our Interim Management network. - What transpires when Nextt Management is tasked with filling an interim position?
We send out an e-mail to our network of candidates conveying the concrete terms and a brief description outlining what the assignment consists of. Candidates thus have the possibility to assess whether the interim assignment interests them and fits their personal schedules. From the responses we receive - typically with very short notice - we select a number of candidates to participate in a personal briefing in which the business in question, what the assignment consists of, and the terms of employment are confidentially reviewed. We invariably, as a minimum, wish to present two candidates to the client for consideration. When you are introduced as a candidate, the client, as a rule, will immediately make a decision. - What will Nextt Management do for you as a candidate?
