How do we choose the best candidate for the job?
The key to a successful Interim Management solution is our understanding of the challenges associated with leadership as exist in a particular business. At the same time, we painstakingly select the candidates who match the assignment, with understanding and confidentiality between the parties concerned.
Nextt Management employs a selection method that ensures only the best candidates get presented to the business. Typically, at least two candidates will be selected, between whom the client will have the opportunity to choose.
Before we present the candidates to the client, the candidates are:
- Interviewed and determined suitable for the assignment
- Briefed on the assignment’s content
- Prepared to undertake the assignment on short notice
With its basis in our Interim Management network of leaders, the procedure, from initial contact with the client until the candidate can embark upon the work, will typically take 10 working days.

Nextt Management will make itself available within 24 hours for a briefing meeting where we can discuss the client’s situation, the assignment and the requirements that can be expected of the interim candidate.
Selection of candidates:
- We normally select and assess the qualifications of two candidates for the assignment, who are then presented to the client. Our goal is to be able to present the candidates having the personal qualities, drive, competence, knowledge, and communication skills necessary to complete the assignment.
- During the meeting in which the candidates are presented, the client will have the opportunity to interview the candidate with regards to the assignment and personal qualities, as well as to elaborate upon the interim assignment. Afterwards there will normally be sufficient grounds for a decision to be made concerning which candidate shall be engaged for the assignment.
- Once the decision is made, we ensure that all the necessary agreements are put into place and that the candidate embarks upon the assignment within the agreed-upon terms.
